Universal design fits left or right hand, one size adjusts to most patients
Adaptable configuration converts from a Wrist-Hand-Finger Orthosis (WHFO) to a Hand-Finger Orthosis (HFO)
Multiple application options:
• Ulnar gutter – immobilizes ring & small fingers (ideal for boxer’s fracture, 4th/5th metacarpal fractures, MCP injuries, proximal phalanx fractures, ulnar nerve injuries)
• Buddy splint – stabilizes ring & middle fingers (ideal for 3rd/4th metacarpal fractures, MCP injuries, proximal phalanx fractures)
• Radial gutter – protects index & middle fingers while leaving thumb functional (ideal for 2nd/3rd metacarpal fractures, MCP injuries, proximal phalanx fractures)
Padded, malleable volar and dorsal stays for custom positioning and comfort
Distal buddy straps prevent finger rotation and promote correct alignment
