Thermo-form Thumb Splints contain a thermoplastic insert which can be molded directly in the pocket using hot water for a custom fit and proper thumb positioning. The short and mid-lengths can be used for thumb arthritis (osteo or reheumatoid.), MCP joint injuries (ligament, arthritis, and tendon lacerations), MCP fusion, tendonitis, and joint fractures. The long length can be used for de Quervain's, tenosynovitis, arthritis (within the radius, radiocarpal joint), tendonitis (of the wrist and thumb), joint fractures, flexor/extensor injury/repair, thumb joint replacement (CMC joint arthroplasty)
