Just set this up for a client today, he has ALS and tried other supports that have been uncomfortable. This collar was slightly daunting at first, but once we got all the pieces out and used a heat gun to mold the first piece, it was easy to make changes. There are multiple options that come with the kit, so you can really customize exactly where support is needed most. It can also be very quickly modified for different uses. More support for riding in a car vs. less support for sitting around the house. All supports are attached to the outside and are Velcro'd on very securely, but easy to take off and change positioning. I would recommend this, but also recommend having a therapist set it up initially.
