The Freedom finger contracture orthosis is used to assist in increasing extension of the MP,PIP, and DIP joints of the fingers where flexion contracture exists. The orthosis can be applied in different ways, depending on the severity of the contracture. It has a tapered and conical shape that provides gentle, progressive and measurable treatment of severely contracted fingers.

Heelift effectively eliminates pressure from the heel by offloading all pressure from the heel and redistributing the pressure to the calf, preventing the development of heel pressure ulcers. A gentle cradling and cushioning of the lower leg with the heel elevated in protective space reduces the chances for irritation or pressure points.

Hand splint supports the fingers, thumb and wrist in a resting position and allows for simple adjustment of the wrist and thumb. Aluminum frame allows for progressive splinting. Is adjustable with no tools or heat. Lined with self-wicking material. Hand washable and latex free.

Hand Contracture Orthosis Kit painlessly positions the fingers away from the palm to protect the skin from excessive moisture, pressure, and the risk of nail puncture injuries while helping to prevent bacteria build up and unpleasant odors. The soft cotton covering is permanently infused with silver ion that inhibits the growth and replication of bacteria, mold, yeast, and other fungi that cause odor, staining, and discoloration. Filled with highly conforming and resilient tiny plastic microspheres that won’t increase spasticity—effective even for significantly distorted hands. Graduated markings on the cover accurately measure and document patient’s progress. Hand-wash in cold water and let air-dry.
