All dishes come with a spool at the bottom that keeps the dish attached to the base, allowing the plate to turn for food choices. All dishes have elevated sides to ensure food is scooped. Dishes come in two materials: ceramic and plastic. All ceramic dishes are microwaveable and dishwasher safe. Blue plastic plate is beneficial for veterans with low vision.
