    Manosplint Wisconsin Coated Splinting Material

    Manosplint Wisconsin is a low-temperature thermoplastic that provides great all round performance. The soft, conforming material provides great support and function. The Wisconsin memory is low to moderate which allows for easy modifications.

    Suggested Clinical Applications:

    Immobilization orthoses: wrist, thumb and hand; wide variety of diagnoses including pediatrics, tendon injuries, fractures, arthritis and neurological diagnoses. Mobilization orthoses: serial static approach or base for dynamic and static progressive designs. Circumferential designs.

    Memory: Minimum to moderate allows for easy modifications and edge finishing.

    Resistance to stretch (RTS): Moderate handling with smooth strokes during molding. Shapes easily.

    Drape: Moderate pressure needed for a conforming fit.

    Rigidity: Moderate. Strong and flexible enough for easy donning and doffing.

    Bonding & Finish: Coated material that will not adhere to itself unless the coating is removed.

    Colors: Available in white

    Perforations: Available in solid or 1% perforation options.

    Sizes & Thicknesses:

    • Available in 3 sizes: Demi (30.5 x 46cm), Standard (46 x 61cm) and Large (61 x 92cm).
    • Available in 2.4mm and 3.2mm thicknesses.

    Suggested uses: Upper extremity splints, circumferential splints
