    Functional Cognitive Activity Treatment Modules

    Choose from 3 different Modules: Use relevant everyday materials (menus, schedules, business cards) in treatment to address functional cognitive skills including the ability to search and locate information, compare information and identify discrepancies, follow a list and hold items in mind, keep track and update information, shift responses with changing directions, create lists, enter information into schedules, plan, organize, manage complex directions with multiple criteria.

    Highly Adaptable and Versatile:  Tailor treatment to the adult client’s functional cognitive needs and abilities. Activities with low, medium and high cognitive demands.

    Brief activities for those with lower cognitive abilities (eg.  limited attention. working memory or moderate spatial neglect).            

    Higher-level, comprehensive treatment activities for adults with subtle executive function deficits

    Activities are designed using principles from the Multicontext Approach (MC). 

    ·       Alternate treatment activities allow for immediate observation of carryover and transfer of strategies 

    ·       Self-Evaluation checklists or templates for all activities (to allow for client self-checking)
