These adapted scissors are easy to set up and use:

1. Take the scissors out of the base.
2. Put the batteries in the battery compartment. Pull the bottom handle of the scissors down to open this compartment.
3. Place the scissors back into the base.
4. Plug in a capability switch into the jack in the scissors. Make sure the connection is tight.
5. Activate the switch to make the scissors cut. The scissors will be activated as long as the switch is — when you release the switch, the scissors will stop cutting.

Adapted scissors are held into place with a fabric fastener strap and take two AA alkaline batteries. Our switch-activated scissors work with or without a switch and are compatible with adaptive switches for versatile use. Additional features include:
